How
do I sign up for an account
with photoswift?
Top
- Click
on the Register link
on the menu bar.
- Provide
your name, email address
and a 4 digit
Email/MMX PIN number.
All fields are mandatory.
- Click
on the Register button.
- Registration
details would be sent to your email
address.
- The
email will also contain a
temporary password, which has
to used to login to your Photoswift account.
- You would be prompted
to change your password after you sign in for
the first time.
What
are the details I need
to furnish while signing

forgotten my password?

Click on the "Forgot
Password" link on the

Enter your Email ID
on the window that pops
up.

Click on the send button.

You will receive an
email with a new password.

can I change my password?

Creating
Albums
How
do I create a new album?

do I upload photos into
a specific Album?

Method
1:

Click on the Album of
your choice from the
list of albums under
the My Albums section.

You will be taken to the
album details page.

Click on the Upload
Photos Link on the Menu
Bar

Select the method of
upload (Basic or Multiple)

Click on the browse
button and select the
files you wish to upload.

Click on the Upload
button.

The selected files will
be uploaded to the album.

album for upload by
clicking on the album

button and select the
files you wish to upload.

Send the mail to photo@photoswift.com.
- All
photos uploaded using
this method will be
available to you in
the MMX_EMAIL album
that is automatically
created.

You may move the photographs
from this to an album
your choice.

Viewing
Albums

version of any particular

the Album Details Page, click on

Sharing
Albums
How
do I share an album with
my friends? Top

Click on the Share Now
button in the Album
details page.

Select the Email IDs
if any from the friends
list and/or enter Email
IDs of your friends.

If you wish to give
Print access to your
friends check the Allow
Prints Option.

Click on the Invite
button.

An email will be sent
to your friends giving
them access to your album.
Will
my friends be able to
order prints of the photographs
in the shared album?

If you have granted them print
access while sharing the
album, then they will be able to order
prints.
Do
my friends need to have
a Photoswift account to
be able to see the shared
album? Top
No,
your friends do not need
a Photoswift account to
view your album. However,
they will be able to order
prints from your album
only if they are registered
users of Photoswift.
Can
I unshare an album that
has been already been shared?
Top
Yes, you can unshare albums
by doing the following,

Click on the Edit Settings
button under the Photo
Share section in the
Album Details Page.

Check the Email IDs
of friends with whom
you wish to unshare the
album.
-
Click on the Remove button.
Can
I grant/revoke print permission
after granting permission?
Top
Yes, you can grant/revoke
print permission for albums
shared with friends.
- Click
on the Edit Settings
button under the Photo
Share Section in the
Album Details Page.

Check the Email IDs
of friends whose print
access you wish to change.
-
Check the "Allow Prints"
option if you wish to
grant permission.
-
Uncheck the "Allow Prints"
option if you wish to
revoke permission.

Click on the Change
Rights button.
Photo
Cards
How
can I make my own personalized
photo greeting card?

Click on the Photo Greeting
Card link under the
My Photo Products Section
in your personal homepage.

Click on the "Create
A New Card" link.

Enter a unique name.
- Personalize
your card by selecting
the following,
a.
Card Finish
b. Background Template
- (select from the dropdown
and see preview of the
template on selection)
c. Photo -

Select the album from
which you want to choose
photos from the drop
down on the top left
corner.
ii.
The image scroller on
the left is populated
with the photos from
the chosen album
iii.
Select the photo of
your choice from the
image scroller, drag
and drop it over the
preview section thats
reads "Drag and
Drop here!".
f. Address to - Enter
the person's name for
whom the greeting card
is being created. Leave
this empty if you wish
to make a generic card.
g. Content - Enter your
personalized message
here.
h. Sent From - Enter
your name. Leave it
empty if you wish to
make a generic card.
n. Once you are satisfied
with your design, click on the Save
button to save the card.
o. Click on the Save
and Add to Cart button
to add the card to your
shopping cart.
How
can I add photo cards
to my shopping cart?

on the selected album

Fill - If you wish to
manually select the
order and way in which
the photographs are
arranged in the photo
book.
g. Select a template
for the pages in the
photo book.
* does not apply to 4" X 6" and 5"X7" sizes

Click on the Create
Book button.
- If
the Auto fill mode is
chosen the photographs
are automatically arranged
using the chosen template.
- If
the custom mode is selected
the photos have to be
manually dragged from
the scrolling photos
on the left and dropped
on the desired location
on the page.
What
are the different sizes

from?

- 4" X 6"
- 5"X7"
- 6"X8"
- 9"X12"

Can
I make changes to a photo
book created in the Auto
Fill mode? Top
Yes, you can make changes
to a photo book created
in the Auto Fill mode.
- You
can change the placement
of photos by dragging
and dropping the new
photo of your choice
over the old photo.

You can also change
the template of every
individual page by clicking
on the icon representing
the template of your
choice.

b. To Add page - Click
on the Add Page button
to add pages at the
end of the book
c. To change templates
- Click on the icon
representing the template
of your choice. (Note
the template is changed
only for a given page
and not the entire book)
d. To insert pages in
between - Click on the
Insert Page button to
insert a page before
the current page.
e. To delete pages -
Click on the Delete
Page button to delete
the current page.
f. To save - After dragging
and dropping images,
click on the Save button
to save the changes
made to the book.

Exiting from the photo
book page without clicking
on the Save button will
not save changes made
to the page that was
current before exiting.

Clicking on the Insert,
Delete or Navigation
buttons would automatically
save the changes made
to the page that was
current before clicking.
